TAC-1

Working in cooperation with local Police, SWAT and ERT units, Wally has designed and custom built the Hayes TAC-1 and the TAC-Custom. Two incredibly solid pieces of tactical weaponry for professionals. These blades were requested by police professionals whose lives depend on their tools. The resounding success of these custom blades with SWAT and ERT members has convinced Wally to start producing these amazing blades for sale to collectors.

TAC-1   -   G-10 scales, 5" blade. Included is a nylon and kydex sheath.

Made of high carbon tool steel, they are tempered for long-lasting edges and the flexibility required in the real world. TAC-1has G-10scales and TAC-Custom sports Wally's Japanese inspired epoxied wrap. Both store easily in a custom made Kydex technical sheath.

TAC-Custom   -  Braided, epoxied handle, 6"blade.

Wally will be offering them in 154CM in the next few months. Right now, however, they are of 0-1 tool steel, and are bead blasted for a nice matte finish. Sure they require a little oiling, but you can't surpass the edge holding ability and flexibility of 0-1 with Stainless, and that's a fact!

Hayes TAC-1 and TAC Custom as displayed are hand made custom working knives for tactical applications.
